Privacy | Privacy Policy

General Information
This Privacy Policy is intended to inform users of this website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data. As new technologies and the continuous development of this website may make changes to this Privacy Policy necessary, we recommend reviewing it at regular intervals. Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Article 4 GDPR.

Access Data
On the basis of legitimate interest (see Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), the website provider collects data relating to access to the website and stores it as “server log files” on the website server. The following data are logged: • website visited • time of access • amount of data sent in bytes • source/referrer from which you reached the site • browser used • operating system used • IP address used. Server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and are then deleted. The data are stored for security reasons, for example in order to investigate cases of misuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary purposes, they are excluded from deletion until the incident has been conclusively resolved. As a rule, this website can be used without providing personal data. Where personal data (for example names, addresses or email addresses) are collected on this website, this is done, wherever possible, on a voluntary basis. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. The use by third parties of contact details published pursuant to the legal notice obligations under Section 5 TMG for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising or information materials is expressly prohibited. This website is intended solely for informational purposes.

Copyright & Disclaimer
The contents of this website are protected by copyright. Reproduction of information or data, in particular the use of texts, text excerpts or image material, requires the prior consent of the website operator. This website contains links to third-party websites (“external links”). Responsibility for these external links lies exclusively with the respective operators.

Google Analytics
On the basis of our legitimate interests in optimising and analysing our online offering within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, this website uses the “Google Analytics” service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses “cookies” — text files stored on your device. The information collected by the cookies is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Google LLC complies with European data-protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield framework.

Integration of Third-Party Services and Content
On the basis of legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, this website integrates content or service offerings from third-party providers in order to display their content and services, such as videos or audio (collectively referred to below as “content”). This always requires the third-party providers of such content to receive the users' IP address, since without the IP address they would be unable to send the content to the users' browsers. The IP address is therefore required in order to display this content. We endeavour to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the purpose of delivering that content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also referred to as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. Pixel tags can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on users' devices and may include, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about use of our online offering, and may also be linked with such information from other sources.

SoundCloud
Some audio recordings are stored on the SoundCloud platform, provided by SoundCloud Limited, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany, and are played back from this website. For this purpose, I embed so-called SoundCloud widgets in this website. These are playback applications that enable users to play the audio contributions. SoundCloud may measure which audio contributions are listened to and to what extent, and may process this information pseudonymously for statistical and business purposes. Cookies may be stored in users' browsers for this purpose and processed to create user profiles, for example in order to display advertisements corresponding to users' potential interests. For users registered with SoundCloud, SoundCloud may associate listening information with their profiles. Further information and options for objection can be found in SoundCloud's privacy policy: https://soundcloud.com/pages/privacy

YouTube
I publish videos on the YouTube platform provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and embed these videos using a player in enhanced privacy mode. Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy will be amended whenever changes to the data processing carried out or changes in the legal situation make this necessary. Last updated: 5 April 2021
